Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineer

Hello!
I am a manufacturing engineer working at Olympus in Redmond. I graduated from UW with a degree in mechanical engineering in 2022.
I enjoy using design and lean manufacturing principles to help sustain current and new products.

Manufacturing Engineer II (Thermal Imaging Factory)
■ Sustained SQDIP (factory KPI’s) of 7 product lines of thermal imaging cameras for one year
■ Repaired and sustained parallax, visible light, and infrared imaging calibration stations for camera engines
■ Performed both roles as test/manufacturing engineer for first 5 months at Fluke
■ Worked with suppliers on supply chain issues, saving over $150,000 with first cost savings project

Manufacturing Engineer II (High Volume Multimeters)
■ Sustaining SQDIP (factory KPI’s) of 13 product lines of multimeters with mixed model cells
■ Developed mechanical fixtures across 3 factories to support productivity and ergonomics for operators
■ Led and coordinated daily tier one meetings for 5 engineering technicians
■ Qualified prototype designs and parts from new production introduction team (NPI)

Fluke 2023 Shingijutsu Kaizen Team Leader
■ Led a team of 15 professionals in a one-weekkaizen event to tear down and remodel a section of the factory to meet 40% cycle time reduction and productivity metrics provided by Fluke leadership team.
We placed 1st in the event.
